See TWO new shows by our good friends at Slant Theatre Project and Ars Nova!

On Monday, Sept. 27th @ 9:30 pm, you can see Slant’s Beyond Measure, a musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure, with music by P.K. Pickens and directed by Lori Wolter Hudson.  This show is part of Slant’s Groundworks Series.

From now till Oct. 9th, you have the opportunity to see Ars Nova’s Now Circa Then, a new play by Carly Mensch and directed by Jason Eagan.  A play about an 1890’s immigrant couple on NYC’s Lower East Side and a current-day pair of historical reenactors.  We are happy to be brewing a Weiss spiced with pink peppercorns for the opening night party.

We are excited to be working with our friends at Ars Nova again this Tuesday.  We will be providing the talented musicians performing in their 54/10 Music Marathon with 2nd Floor Brewing’s Apricot Wheat.  Come out and enjoy music from Jay Brannon, Johnny Gallagher, and others.  $10 a night or $50 for the whole marathon.  Cheers!

We are happy to be working with Ars Nova again and providing the very talented Showgasm artists with brew-ha.  On tap will be a pale ale, dry-hopped with Citra hops.  Citra is a new variety (2008) with a big citrus aroma and most notably used by Sierra Nevada to dry-hop their Torpedo Extra IPA.   Although the artists have sole claim to this brew, I highly recommend starting your Friday night with a Showgasm.  Its a quick (1 hourish show) and easy way to enjoy many local artists (7 acts & a band).  And its FREE (no ticket, entrance, or cover fee).  RSVP at the link below and get there early to enjoy happy half-hour!  Cheers!!
